Si, ya nos hemos dado el SI al mas puro estilo tradicional Aleman y en un lugar muy especial para la familia, en Lamspringe - y en lo que fue hasta hace unos anos el salon de estar de la familia Reschke-Krending.
Tuvimos un tiempo fantastico y una celebracion espectacular con la familia y amigos mas cercanos - aunque no nos olvidamos de brindar por todos los que no estaban!
Fue un momento muy emocionante para todos los presentes y con alguna que otra lagrima incluida. Como recuerdo tenemos casi 2000 fotos gracias a varios intrepidos fotografos que no dejaron ni un momento sin recojer en sus camaras.
El momento ha quedado grabado para siempre en nuestras memorias, pero a tan solo dos semanas de la celebracion Espana, no podemos pensar en mucho mas que en la siguiente fiesta con todos vosotros!

Wie ihr alle wisst, war die standesamtliche Hochzeit am Ostersamstag in Deutschland, der erste Teil unserer Hochzeitsfeierlichkeiten.
Es war ein fantastischer Moment für unsere Familien und einige Freunde an einem bedeutsamen Ort für die Familien Reschke und Krending. In Lamspringe wurde Matthias getauft und Matthias Eltern haben dort auch geheiratet. Die eigentliche standesamtliche Trauung fand in genau dem Raum statt, der früher das Wohnzimmer von Matthias Grosseltern gewesen ist, in dem damals viele wichtige Familienfeiern stattfanden.
Es war ein aufregender und wunderschöner Augenblick für uns alle. Die muntere Stimmung mit viel Gelaechter und auch ein paar Freundentränen wurde durch das herrliche Wetter nur noch verstärkt (+25 Grad). Das ungewöhnlich sonnige Wetter für die frühe Jahreszeit bescherte uns einen besonders warmen Start für diese neue Epoche unseres Lebens.
Die Erinnerungen an diesen Tag tragen wir alle in unseren Herzen und falls irgendjemand der Anwesenden etwas verpasst hat gibt es über 2000 Bilder als kleine Gedaechtnissstütze!
Sind es nur noch wenige Tage bis zur nächsten Feier in Spanien. Wir freuen uns schon sehr diesen besonderen letzten Schritt unserer Hochzeit mit Euch allen zu machen!

Yes, we have already tied the civil knot a few weeks ago in Germany on Easter Saturday.
It was a fantastic moment with the close family and friends and in a memorable location. In Lamspringe Matthias was baptised and Matthias' parents got married. The actual wedding ceremony happened in the very room that used to be the living room of the Matthias' grandparents where most of their family celebrations happened at the time.
It was an exciting moment for all of us, a beautiful one and of course a very emotional one.
We shared laughs and tears together over fantastic food and drinks and with an amazing weather (+25°C) . Unusually sunny spells that rarely happen at that time of the year brought a warm start up to this new stage of our lives.
The memories of that day are set already into our hearts and the ones of our loved ones (and if somebody missed a thing, there are more than 2000 pictures to remind them of!)
Now we are only literally days ahead of the next celebration in Spain. We are very much looking forward to it and to share such a special moment with all of you!
