Si los Canibano tenian ganas, los Reschke no se quedan atras!.
A los Reschke no les faltan excusas para apuntarse a una buena fiesta! siempre estan disponibles, y siempre es una buena ocasion para un brindis, una tarta y un par de bailes!
Y si lo que pensabas es que como son Alemanes seran un poco paraditos y aburridos, pues no podiais estar mas equivocados....desde luego no estos Alemanes........tienen mas marcha que muchos espanoles!!!.....aqui esta la quimica!!!
Aunque tenian muchas ganas de que llegara este momento, y no sera por las indirectas de los ultimos anos  de Manfred!, ya casi habian desesperado un poco y pasado directamente al Plan B: Los nietos!!!!
Estan encantados con las noticias y rebosan felicidad.....aunque en el fondo el plan B sigue muy activo.....
Aunque el "Gran Dia" sera en Espana, estan al dia de todos los detalles y ya han visitado los lugares de la celebracion. Incluso estaran alli para la prueba del menu.....y tambien ayudaran a que la boda cuente con algun que otro toque aleman!
Pero debido al papeleo vario de esta mini-boda internacional, nos casaremos tambien por lo civil en Abril de 2009 y sera en Alemania. Los Reschke - y la ayuda de algunos familiares muy allegados como los Krending - seran los anfitriones y encargados de organizar las celebraciones en Alemania. La Representacion espanola lo ha dejado muy claro....quiere muchas salchichas y bidones de cerveza....simple y al grano....podran ganar a esto a los alemanes? Lo dudo....pero sera un buen "entrenamiento" para el gran momento con todos vosotros en Denia.
Ah....y por si quedan dudas.....los Reschke tambien se han apuntado a un cursillo intensivo para ponerse al dia con todo lo espanol!. Un par de intesivos del idioma, un par de visitas gastronomico-culturales con los Canibano.....y listos para el ataque!!!
Papa Manfred es uno de los organizadores oficiales del evento!. Se ha ofrecido voluntario y nosotros estamos encantados!. Alemania la negociara el entera y en Espana.....tambien tendra que decir....en la carta de vinos y en la tarta (sus especialidades gastronomicas!)
Mutti Barbara sera "La Madrina del Novio"... un nuevo concepto para ella pero esta encantada con la noticia. Ya ha practicado el paseillo de salida con Papa Vicente......pero nos tememos que habra batalla de lagrimas entre estos dos en el altar!.
Christina, la hermana pequena de Matthias...que en realidad tiene la misma edad que la novia....tambien tendra su funcion especial en tal dia....pero paso a paso.....lo mas importante es que puede obtener mucha informacion privilegiada de como organizar este tipo de eventos....por si algun dia le toca........verdad Nikl??? (=Nikolaus, novio de Tina)..... a partir de ahora las miradas se enfocaran en el.....un poquito de relax para nosotros.....

Familie Reschke hat natürlich genauso lange wie Familie Canibano auf diese Hochzeit gewartet. Genauer gesagt sogar zwei Jahre länger. Aber wir wissen ja alle, was lange währt, wird endlich gut! Auch die Reschkes sind sich nie zu schade ,eine guten Grund für eine schöne Feier, die tollsten Torten, das eine oder andere Glas eines guten Weines oder einige Tanzeinlagen zu finden. So wird die Hochzeit sicherlich eine gute Mischung aus deutscher und spanischer Feierlaune sein.
Auch sie hatten wahrscheinlich so langsam gedacht, daß die Wahrscheinlichkeit Großeltern zu werden größer sein wird, als die Hochzeit ihres Sohnes zu erleben. Umso erfreuter waren sie, als  sie von der freudigen Nachricht aus Maastricht erfuhren. Matthias hatte sich nämlich den Ort, an dem sich das Hochzeitspaar kennenlernte, für den Heiratsantrag ausgesucht.
Nun sind auch die Reschkes mit allem Tatendrang bei der Planung der Hochzeit dabei. Auch wenn die Hochzeit nun auf fremdem Gebiet in Spanien stattfindet, stehen sie mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und werden dafür sorgen, daß deutsche Traditionen bei diesem Fest nicht zu kurz kommen werden.
Auch für Barbara und Manfred ist dies die erste Hochzeit ihrer Kinder, die sich beide einige Zeit für diesen Schritt gelassen haben. Deshalb ist ihnen auch die Freunde daran gleich anzumerken! So werden wir auch aus einer Hochzeit gleich zwei Feiern machen; die standesamtliche Hochzeit, im kleinen Kreis ,im April 2009, in Deutschland und die kirchliche Trauung, im Juni, in Spanien. Die Spanier sind übrigens genauso froh, Deutschland (und speziell die kulinarischen Spezialitäten) ein bißchen besser kennenzulernen.
Nach ein paar Besuchen in Denia sind sie mit der Ortswahl auch zufrieden und die Menüauswahl, Anfang nächsten Jahres, sollte die Zufriedenheit noch erhöhen.
Vater Manfred, einer der Zeremonienmeister, wird sicherlich mit seinem Elan bei der Verbereitung dem Hochzeitspaar eine gorße Hilfe sein, wofür ihm Braut und Brätigam sehr dankbar sind!
Mutter Barbara, wird eine spezielle Rolle bei der Trauung als 'Madrina del Novio' spielen. Nach spanischer Tradition führt die Mutter den Bräutigam nicht nur zum Altar, sondern bleibt auch an seiner Seite bis zum Ende der Trauung.
Christina, Matthias Schwester, ist auch etwas Spezielles während der Hochzeit vorbehalten. Aber das wird noch nicht verraten! Tina wird zur Zeit der Hochzeit im gleichen Alter sein wie die Braut. Wenn das kein Wink für die Zukunft ist, daß es auch für sie auch langsam Zeit wird. Aber zu der Entscheidung gehören natürlich immer zwei. Nicht wahr Nikl (Nikolaus ist Tinas Freund)! 

If the Canibano's have been waiting, the Reschke's have about the same....or even more.....
They also love excuses for celebrations, a few cakes, drinks & dances ("Kaffe und Kuchen" could be Mr Reschke second name!) ...and do not get mistaken by the fact that they are german...and they will under perform the spanish crowd.....certainly not these germans!!!
They had almost given up as well and were almost going straight for the grandkids.....but hey, they were hillarious & excillarating when we brought the news.
They are now also a bit nervous with the organization, making sure everybody knows on time what to do.
And even if the "gran celebration" takes part in Spain, they will be taking part in decisions & arrangements as much as everybody else - specially as they have to make sure there is also a "german touch" in the wedding!!! (as I doubt the groom has interest or knowledge on this bit...not on the german drinking tough...get ready!!).
For the Reschke's it will be also the first family wedding....and you can feel the exciment around it!!!. And to make sure they have a good training we are given them 2!. Yes, they will host our Civil wedding in April 2009 in Germany....which we are all very much looking forward as warm up for the big day. And the spanish side is super pleased with this idea as well, not sure the Reschke's will be able to hold enough stock of Beer & Sausages for all of us....is a simple menu we ask!
They have already visited Denia and are please with the decision. They will be tasting the wedding menu and making sure there is a bit of germanizing here and there when possible...even though the bride's parents are making sure they get accustomized to the Spanish bits in food and drinking on time. Gossip says they are "out performing the norms"!!!
Papa Manfred will be one of the Masters of Ceremonies, he has offered himself to help with preparatives as much as he can, and as much as we want him to. Manfred get ready....the wine list will be on your side, maybe the cake as well....!!!
Mutti Barbara will be "La Madrina del Novio", which means she will not only look extra pretty, but will have to stand next to her son all the wedding service. I think there will be a tough competition on who drops more tears....Papa Vicente or Mutti Barbara
Christina, Matthias little sister, will also have her own special role on the wedding....but we cannot reveal all yet!!!. By wedding time, Tina will be the same age as the bride, which might influence her life a tiny bit....and where she can probably get a lot of tips....for when her turn comes!.....Nikl !!!(=Nikolaus...Tina's boyfriend).....get ready!!!
